A program to raise the efficiency of security managers of Qatar stadiums 2022

The first course of the training program for security and safety managers for the 2022 World Cup stadiums was launched at La Cigale Hotel, as part of preparations for Qatar’s hosting of the first World Cup to be held in the Middle East and the Arab world. The program organizes the qualification and training unit of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Security and Safety Operations Committee, in coordination with the Sports Facilities Security Department at the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the body responsible for delivering the infrastructure projects necessary for Qatar to host the World Cup. The program was inaugurated by Abdullah Al-Mohannadi, Director of Facilities Security at the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, in the presence of Lt. Col. Fahad Saeed Al-Subaie, Head of the Qualification and Training Unit of the Security and Safety Operations Committee for the 2022 World Cup Qatar, and with the participation of 28 managers and assistants in the Qatar World Cup stadiums. Al-Mohannadi said that this program was organized in cooperation and coordination with the Qualification and Training Unit of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Security and Safety Operations Committee, which made distinguished efforts in studying the needs of security and safety managers in World Cup stadium facilities, and then designing the training curriculum for them at the required speed. He stressed that these efforts quickly bore fruit on the ground with the opening of the first cycle of the program, which aims to raise the efficiency and skills of managers of World Cup facilities in accordance with international requirements for insurance
