Achraf Hakimi reveals the truth about his departure from Inter Milan
After the Italian Football League title was won, rumors rose about the future of the “Nerazzurri” stars and the possibility of leaving the team during the upcoming summer transfer period, including Moroccan player Ashraf Hakimi. During his interview with “La Gazzetta dello Sport” newspaper, the Moroccan national team star and the “Black Snakes” club talked about his future in “Calcio”, stressing that he does not know what will happen in the coming days, although he does not mind continuing with Inter in the coming seasons. Ashraf Hakimi said in this context, saying: “I am happy to be inside Inter Milan. My wife is also happy here, and my son is also honest. I do not know what the future holds for us. I hope to continue here and win more than one title.” Hakimi continued: “I signed with Inter in order to achieve my ambition, and for the team’s project, after resolving the details since the first phone call I had with coach Antonio Conte.” The Moroccan player added, “I learned a lot with Conte, he helped me think about the attack, and how to defend as well. I learned things with him that I did not know, especially as he loves to work on the smallest parts.” Ashraf had moved to Inter Milan, for 40 million euros, from his original team, Real Madrid, who had loaned him for two seasons to Borussia Dortmund, to make a name for himself inside him, after he shined clearly in the “Bundesliga”.
