African competitions return at the end of July

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the calendar of the return of continental competitions at the end of next month, after stopping for more than two months due to the pandemic of Covid 19 – Corona virus –

The start of the competitions will be from the Champions League semi-final first leg on the 31st of July, where the final of the competition will be on August 28th, and the competition will return to the CAF Cup on August 2nd, and the final on the 23rd of the same month.

And CAF deliberately prepared an alternative plan in the event that it is impossible toreturn the matches on previous dates, as the competitions start between 4 and 6 September and the return matches between 11 and 13 September, with the final round of the two competitions taking place on September 25.

The Confederation also decided to cancel the initial roles in the upcoming African competitions, to keep the advanced roles in October, and to continue the group play in next November.
