After two losses and 3 draws, Pyramids returns to the winning streak

Pyramids returned to the track of victories that they had strayed from for five consecutive games, by defeating their host Arab Contractors 2-0, Friday, in a postponed meeting between them from the twenty-fourth stage of the Egyptian Football League.

The two goals were scored by Abdullah Al-Saeed (22 from a penalty kick) and Islam Issa (30), for Pyramids to win their first victory after two losses and three draws, and the first was led by Greek coach Takis Gonias, who took over the responsibility to succeed Argentine Rodolfo Arrobarina, who was dismissed for poor results.

Pyramids raised its score to 40 points and moved up four places to become fifth, while the Arab Contractors continued a series of declines in its results with its third loss in a row, so its balance froze at 29 points in the fourteenth place and is now threatened with relegation to the second division.
