Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia includes the Croatian Bradaric
Saudi Al-Ahly Club announced its official contract with Croatian midfielder Filip Bradaric for two seasons, after the end of his loan contract from Cagliari, Italy, to Al-Ain Saudi.
Al-Ahly published, through its official account on the social networking site “Twitter” early this morning, a short video clip, in which the player expressed his happiness in contracting with Al-Ahly.
Al-Ahly did not reveal the financial value of the contract, but press reports indicated that the Croatian player signed a contract worth 1.5 million euros to Al-Ahly.
Bradric has previously represented Croatia’s Rijeka and Hayduk and Spain’s Celta Vigo, along with Italy’s Cagliari.
The Croatian player joined Al Ain in the summer of 2020 from Cagliari on loan, and left at the end of last season to return to his Italian team.
Al-Ahly seeks to solve its financial crisis in order to obtain a certificate of financial competence from the Ministry of Sports, which enables it to conclude contracts, as it ranked third among the clubs with the most debt, with a value of 124 million and 383 thousand and 600 riyals.
Last season, Philip participated with Al Ain in 27 matches in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, during which he scored two goals and made 5 other goals.
At the end of the season, Al Ain was relegated to the First Division, after occupying the last place in the standings table with 20 points.
