Allowing foreign fans to enter Russia during the European Championship without a visa
The Organizing Committee of the European Championship in the Russian city of Petersburg issued an official statement today, Thursday, announcing that fans during the tournament would be allowed to enter Russia without a visa. Foreign fans with match tickets in Petersburg will be able to enter Russia without a visa, and it is sufficient for the fan to enter Russia to obtain a “fan ID” and a negative PCR examination. The Spanish city of Seville was granted the right to host the matches that were scheduled in Bilbao, while the Dublin matches were transferred to Petersburg and London.
