Barcelona begins a plan to persuade Messi to stay
By the summer, the Argentine star, Lionel Messi, is free from any commitment with his Spanish club Barcelona, where he can sign any team without returning to the club.
As the Catalan media outlined that Josep Maria Bartomio, the head of the Barsa, is preparing to hold a meeting with Messi’s father next week in order to reach an agreement to extend the contract of the Argentine star with Barlguana, after negotiations between the two parties had stopped during the past months due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, which affected the Catalan club and various International clubs.
The same source indicated that the negotiations are preliminary only at the present time, to continue in the next season.
The current contract of the Argentine star with his club expires in the summer of next year. For reference, the player has a clause “allowed to leave for free” at the end of the current season, provided the administration is notified before the start of the month of June.
Al-Barghout signed his last contract with Barasa in 2017, extending until the summer of 2021
The 33-year-old Barcelona legend takes place on the twenty-fourth of June, so his next contract is likely to be the last in “Camp Nou”.
During his 16-year career, Messi managed to win 34 championships, including 10 La Liga titles and 4 in the Champions League, in addition to a historic six-year achievement with his former coach Josep Guardiola in 2009.
Although there were some problems between the player and the administration recently, the player’s desire to retire from the bloggerana shirt, which is always confirmed.
