Bougherra supports his team with expatriate stars in anticipation of the Arab World Cup
The coach of the local Algerian national team, Majid Bougherra, got the green light to invite a group of players who represent the first team, in anticipation of the camp that will start on June 12, in preparation for participating in the Arab Cup for national teams. A source from the Algerian Football Federation, in contact with “Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed”, stated that Bougherra will summon the Qatari Al-Sadd striker, Baghdad Bounedjah, and the star of the Qatar team, Youssef Belaili, as well as the Tunisian Esperance defender, Abdelkader Badran, and the goalkeeper of the French team Nice, Teddy Bolhindi, And finally, Olympic goalkeeper Medea, Abdel Rahman Majadel. A second group of expatriates will be added to these players, in order to form a competitive team in the “Arab World Cup”, to which he attaches great importance, given the strong group in which he will face Egypt and the qualifiers for the matches in Lebanon, Djibouti, Libya and Sudan. The local team will begin its camp immediately after the end of the first team camp, which the players will enter on the 12th of this month, before moving to the city of Oran for the first confrontation in the new stadium against Burundi on the 16th of the same month. And Al-Araby Al-Jadeed revealed a few months ago that Bougherra is relying a lot on professional stars in the Arab leagues, something that will be achieved by announcing his initial list that he will support with local players as well. The local team has not seen a similar work for several years due to negligence and the appointment of coaches in order to fill the vacuum of the position, as the former defender of the “Desert Warriors” team started his work a long time ago, and watched several matches in the local league.
