Depay scores the net in the first match in Barcelona colors

The Dutch national football team striker, Memphis Depay, opened his scoring tally with his new team, Barcelona, ​​when he contributed to a 3-1 victory over his compatriot Girona in the second division, Saturday, in a pre-season friendly match.

Depay, who moved to the Catalan club on a free transfer after the expiration of his contract with Lyon, scored the third goal in the 85th minute from a penalty kick, after Gerard Pique opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a penalty kick, and the Albanian Ray Manai added the second three minutes later.

George Sabarien scored the only goal for Girona in the 42nd minute from a penalty kick.

Barcelona meets Stuttgart, Germany, next Saturday, then Salzburg, Austria, on the fourth of next month, before hosting Juventus, on the eighth of it, in the Joan Gamper Cup.
