Federer: Djokovic is the favorite to win Wimbledon

Swiss tennis star Roger Federer confirmed today, Saturday, that Serbian Novak Djokovic is the first candidate to win the Wimbledon title, after they qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament. “I do not continue the march because they are performing at distinguished levels, but Djokovic is performing an impressive performance recently,” the Swiss star said in a press conference when asked about the Spaniard Rafael Nadal and Djokovic and whether he continues to march in order to keep his records away from his closest competitors. I considered him the first candidate to win the title, facing him in any role will be very difficult.” He continued, “It will be very difficult to beat him, he has had a great season, won the Australian title and performed great levels at Roland Garros (and won the title as well).” On his exposure to slipping on more than one occasion on Wimbledon grass, especially during his match against Cameron Norrie, which he won today 6-4, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, Federer said, “I slipped and fell a lot in the past, it was no different for me.” I think the ground hasn’t changed from the past.
