Ferrari’s Leclerc takes pole in Azerbaijan F1 Grand Prix
Monaco’s Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc will take pole position on Sunday in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the sixth round of the Formula One World Championship. Leclerc outperformed all his peers in the official qualifying sessions, which witnessed some accidents and stopped more than once at the Baku circuit on Saturday. Qualifying for the race was interrupted four times due to accidents before Leclerc secured pole position for the second time in a row after his success in the Monaco Grand Prix. And starting from the front line alongside Leclerc, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes, finished second in practice. Young Dutchman Max Verstappen will start in third for Red Bull.
