Khalil bin Ahmed Al-Mohannadi succeeded in winning the presidency of the Asian Table Tennis Confederation by acclamation, in a new achievement for the sport at the continental level. Al-Mohannadi will assume the presidency of the Asian Confederation, which includes 44 member associations (8 East Asia), (10 Southeast Asia), (7 South Asia), (12 West Asia) and (7 Central Asia), during the electoral cycle from (2021-2025).
Al-Mohannadi’s arrival to the presidency came after two decades in the service of the AFC, since his appointment as Vice President in 2001 until 2003, before being appointed again in the same position in 2009 until now.
Al-Mohannadi led Qatari table tennis to a series of successes at all levels, and put Qatar’s name high in international forums.
