Laporta is working to raise half a billion euros to reunite Neymar and Messi
The Spanish “Quattro” program reported that Barcelona President Juan Laporta asked the Brazilian star Neymar to wait and not renew his contract with his current club, Paris Saint-Germain, to restore him to the “Camp Nou” stadium.
Neymar’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain ends in the summer of 2022, and the Brazilian player has not agreed to a renewal with the French club so far.
According to the “Quattro” program, Laporta is working to collect 500 million euros from the sponsors, to settle the transfer of Neymar to the royal team, and to renew the contract of his Argentine star, Lionel Messi.
He explained that Neymar is still clinging to the hope of playing alongside Lionel Messi again.
Laporta is working on finding an impressive project to convince Lionel Messi to renew his contract with the Catalan club.
It is noteworthy that Neymar, 29, moved from Barcelona to the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017, for a record fee of 222 million euros, the most expensive so far in the history of football.
