Mohamed Salah reveals his future with Liverpool
Egyptian soccer star Mohamed Salah said on Saturday that no one in the English club Liverpool is talking to him about renewing his contract, which will expire in the summer of 2023.
In statements to Sky Sports, Salah said, “Renewing the contract with Liverpool? Nobody talks to me about that, so I can’t say much about it.”
The 28-year-old Reds star added, “Nobody at the club talks to me about anything, so I don’t know.”
“My ambitions are with Liverpool? I said before that I want to win the Premier League title again, and I want to win the Champions League again.”
“Winning is great,” Salah concluded. “I just try to win titles over and over again. Winning trophies is part of our mission.”
And previous rumors in the sports community had talked about the possibility of Salah moving to the Spanish League, whether to Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Salah joined the Liverpool team from the Italian club Roma in 2017, in a record deal at the time.
Salah scored 120 goals in 193 matches for the English team, in 193 games, in all competitions.
