Neymar leads Brazil to a new victory in the World Cup qualifiers

Brazil maintained its perfect record in the South American qualifiers for the World Cup 2022, after its victory, on Wednesday, in the sixth round, against its host Paraguay, with two goals without a response. The star Neymar scored an early goal in the fourth minute, and Lucas Paqueta added a goal in the last moments (the third minute of lost time), for Brazil to achieve its sixth consecutive victory in the qualifiers. Brazil leads the South American qualifiers table with a full score (18 points from 6 matches), while Paraguay’s balance is stuck at 7 points in sixth place. The top four teams automatically qualify for the 2022 World Cup, while the fifth-placed team plays a playoff with a team from another continent.
