Qatar beach soccer team faces Italy and Russia
The Qatar beach volleyball team, consisting of Sherif Younes and Ahmed Tejan, is looking forward to winning when it faces Italy, consisting of Adrian Ignacio Carambola-Raurich and Enrico Rossi, and the Russian team consisting of Konstantin Semenov and Ilya Lishukov in the second and third rounds of the group matches. The second in the 2021 Beach Volleyball World Tour Finals (for men and women) in its sixth edition, which started yesterday and will continue until October 10 in Sardinia, Italy, with the participation of 10 teams competing for prizes of $800,000. This is the second time that the World Tour Finals will be held in Southern Europe after the last edition in 2019, which was held in Rome. This participation is the first for the Qatari after achieving a historic achievement by winning the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which were recently concluded in Japan last August. The delegation of the national team includes Mohamed Anbar Al-Nasser, director of the Qatar national teams and member of the beach volleyball committee, Argentine coach Mariano Paracetti, his assistant Pablo Bernardi, and healer Arnel Cruz, in addition to the two stars of the national team, Sherif Younes, and Ahmed Tejan. Al Annabi will play against the gold medalist of the Tokyo Olympics, Norway, consisting of Anders Berntzen Moll and Christian Sandley Zorum, and then he will meet with the Netherlands team, consisting of Alexander Breuer and Robert Mawson.
