Real Madrid announces the signing of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid announced in an official statement today, Tuesday, that it has signed Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, 61, for three seasons, to replace French Zinedine Zidane. A club statement read: “Real Madrid announces that Carlo Ancelotti will be the new coach of the first team for the next three seasons. The protocol signing ceremony will take place tomorrow with President Florentino Perez, after which Ancelotti will speak to the media in a remote press conference.” Ancelotti worked as a coach for Real Madrid from 2013 to 2015, and succeeded in leading the team towards one of its most important titles, the “tenth” European Champions League, in addition to the King’s Cup, the Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
