Ronaldo bids farewell to Pirlo and Mourinho demands Roma to join him

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo sent a message to his Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo, who was sacked last Friday. Massimiliano Allegri returned to coach Juventus hours after the dismissal of Pirlo, who had failed to retain the Serie A title and were knocked out of the Champions League at the hands of Benfica. Ronaldo was keen to say goodbye to Pirlo with a message on his official Instagram account, in which he said, “Thank you Maestro. It was an honor for me to be under your leadership.” Ronaldo’s future with Juventus remains unclear, as Alegre stated on Italian television last month that the Bianconeri should get rid of Cristiano. On the other hand, reports indicate that Ronaldo’s agent has entered into negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain, France. An Italian report also mentioned that Jose Mourinho, former Ronaldo coach at Real Madrid, who recently took over the coaching of the Italian Roma team, asked the capital club to sign the Portuguese star if he decided to leave Juventus.
