Tunisia defies Corona and returns the fans to the stadiums
The Tunisian Ministry of Youth and Sports gave good news to the fans, when it decided to return the fans to the stands in the stadiums and halls for a limited period, after the competitions had been held behind closed doors for more than a year, due to the Corona virus crisis. And the Ministry of Sports announced, in an official statement, Thursday, that the fans will be allowed to enter the stadiums, starting with the semi-final match of the African Champions League, which brings together Esperance Club and its guest Al-Ahly of Egypt, on Saturday, and this new procedure will continue until June 27. And the fans must adhere to the new health protocol, which only allows people who have received the vaccine against the Corona virus, or for those who have undergone analysis, to enter the stadiums, provided that the result of the smears is negative, with the need to wear masks on the stands. The Ministry of Sports added that all stadium doors will be opened to fans with the aim of facilitating the process of distancing when fans enter and sit on the stands, and attendance in the upcoming matches will not exceed 10% of the capacity of each stadium. All these measures will be implemented during all local and international competitions that will be held during this period, such as the African Champions League, the semi-final matches and the final match of the Tunisia Cup football competition.
